Very nice. Growing up on a farm in the ‘50s and ‘60s, I love everything about old elevators--the smell, the size and shapes, etc.

Thanks for your comment, John. I never grew up on a farm, but I am certainly drawn to the old abandoned places that define our pioneer heritage.

Beautiful work!

It’s unbelievable luck to be at that place when all the critical elements of this perfect image come together with the chosen subject (elevator) - the sky and clouds, the flock of birds, the low angle of the light - and make a scene reminiscent of the landscape paintings of the old Dutch masters!
