Thanks for the response, glad to help others with a warning about the scam. There were 93 views of my original post. Those people must be immune from problems which can arise over the internet. I did not expect all of them to reply, but thought there would have been more interest from some of them.

look at it this way. you got no negative responses or arguments. so the other 92 views were at least accepting of your info. close enough to a ty in this current state of web courtesies nationally .

In the USA, “wizz” is slang for urinate...

If you download from a real software provider (Adobe, Microsoft, Corel, Serif, Apple, etc.), then you don’t have to worry.

Lol! That’s great! I totally agree.

It’s unfortunate and I hate to see people get ripped off by companies like these. Additionally, I would make sure your virus and security software is up to date. Many shady sites will inbed keystroke loggers, trackers, piggybackers, and other malware. They can also set it up where by installing the software you essentially give permission or access to your hard drive and can establish a pipeline to transmit your sensitive data.
Not trying to scare anyone, but it’s important to know what you install and where.
Run your antivirus and hopefully they will get there’s in the long run!
