Once again a clear and moonless sky beckoned me to shoot the Milky Way. I experimented with my flashlight and placed my vehicle in the shot for a different perspective and really like the results! Thank you for looking and for your nice comments !
Could the 2 red dots that show up in #2 when downloaded & expanded be port side light on an airplane? Didn't see them very well until I zoomed in. They are the same hue and on a line which makes me think you had an intruder. I like the shot and this is not a complaint, just trying to figure what the red is.

I have found that long exposure night photography sometimes produces "hot pixels" that will show a bright color (usually red) in the RAW file on some pixels on the sensor. Lightroom seems to hide them when displaying the photo but I sometimes see them when I first look at the photo at 1to1 view and Lightroom is building the preview - then they disappear. The "hot pixels" are still in the RAW file and when viewed in FastRawViewer they are not hidden.
The colder the weather the fewer "hot pixels" you will have and the more continuously you use the sensor the hotter it gets and the more "hot pixels" you will see. These are also easy to remove.
Nice Milky Way!

Nice shots Thomas, and I did a double take with #1. Had to chuckle at your clever image and the first thing that popped into my mind was you were calling 'ET'. 😂
Ok, that explains it. Based on the positioning I could imagine a plane's wing tip light. Thanks for the info. I am going to try a starfield photo if I can get away from the light polution in Houston.
