Thanks fotoartist - we have harsh sun the last 2 weeks but it mellowed sufficiently this afternoon to encourage me to get a shot - whites can be difficult to photograph.

Thanks Carol - just lucky I guess as white peonies are often a disaster for me as they are not particularly defined as a flower.
