We are quibbling about trade, and the climate agreement, and NATO, but we still love you guys!

On trade the agreements are a bit one sided, in example, 2.5% tariff on cars coming into the US and lord knows that we love German and exotic cars, but for cars exported from the US into the EU there is a 10% tariff, Trump wants a level playing field.

As far as the NATO thing, many of the member nations, not yours but others, have never met their commitment for defense that is a part of the NATO agreement, to quote Angela Merkel, " “Europe must take its fate into its own hands” “The times in which we could completely depend on others are on the way out. I’ve experienced that in the last few days,” Merkel said at a campaign rally in Munich. “We Europeans truly have to take our fate into our own hands.” As an American taxpayer I have long wondered why we pay so much of our defense budget to protect Europe when they themselves spend so little. It can't go on, America is going bankrupt.

Then lastly the Climate Accord, please read it and do the math, great demands for emission reductions were placed upon the US while none were place upon China, in fact China, the largest emitter in the world, is completely unrestricted and can grow their emissions unabated, so much so that by 2025 they can be producing some 10X the amount of CO2 that the US would produce under the terms of the accord and still be in compliance. How does that work for a country that may choose to reclaim its industrial base that has offshored. Trump has goals to restore the vibrant economy that the US once had before the globalist minded administrations decided that it would be more profitable for themselves and their corporate backers to move much of our economy to developing nations.
