Grasshopper-Nikon B700-as-macro

Here is an OOC jpeg using the Nikon B700 as a macro lens. I stood pretty far away with plenty of space to not disturb the insect. Detail is pretty good on the download.

What lens did you use ?? Very impressive photo.

This is the fixed superzoom lens permanently attached to the camera. It is a small sensor 1/2.3. I think photo was shot at about 161mm (about 900mm FF equivalent). The camera is an inexpensive consumer grade camera. But it is capable of taking nice photos. Frankly, used properly you can get nice bokah and sharpness. It is surprising to me how good it can be.
