Bandon, OR. I grew up playing on that beach, climbing the seastacks and exploring the caves at low tide. Back then the stairs didn’t exist. Nowadays the shorebird’s breeding rocks are protected and you have to stay of them.

Thanks. It’s a very different town nowdays. 3 sawmills and a sizable offshore fishing fleet. The Coest Guard station was fully staffed every day of the year. Those industries are where the work was. I’m glad our little town has been able to thrive as times changed.
