What a bunch of bullshit. I am so tired of religious organizations wanting it both ways. Give us our tax exempt status, but also make us exempt from your stupid labor laws if we feel like it. Give us a handout in the form of tax exemptions, but let us lobby politically.

Hypocritical bullshit. If you don't like the rules of the game, stop playing. Give up you tax exempt status and register just like any other super PAC. I'm sure someone is going to point out that this was done by a Catholic front group, not the Church itself, but you're kidding yourself if you think the Church wasn't directly involved with this monetarily or creatively.

I like the way you think, check out George Carlin's"Religion Is Bollshit" rant on this (warning religous folks will be offended).

Rix-Pix, I will let my actions speak for me. I will not and shall not judge you nor condem you for your belief or a lack of your belief in what I believe. I do not have to prove myself to no man nor answer to any man for my beliefs. Life is as we make it. I have a black friend and a gay friend with whom I do not look down upon nor do I judge their persons. I only ask of them to do the same for me. I learned along time ago that I do not have to let hate control me or the hate of others to guide me. RixPix, I do not put myself above you or think myself better than you. I truely do not even know who you are. And you do not even have to believe as I do in a higher power. If you believe there is no God or there be not a Son of God, then so be it. Then for you I say, be a god unto yourself and unto yourself be true.

I just thought equal time for equal for the opposition was in order. Thank you.

I agree with you, RixPix. And were I to be American, rather than someone living in UK, I would be very disappointed to know that a presidential candidate declaring themselves to be an unbeliever would almost by definition become unelectable. It seems ludicrous.

Yes I hear about atheists setting up charities all the time. They have done so much to contribute to the betterment of society. NOT

I love the line about the church being forced to buy insurance that violates their beliefs. Catholic institutions bought that insurance for years before Obama became president. Further, they DON'T have to buy the insurance - if they stop taking federal funds.......

The Catholic Church is a criminal enterprise. Its bigoted and hate-filled tirades should topple its tax exempt status. But it won't.

Don't really know why but that advert scares me. I'm not religious and after viewing that I'm glad not to be. No sanctimonious twat will ever have the right to tell me how I am going to think.

God, I loved the photo images of the ad… so well done that even I will become a true believer in Christinsanity…. Realize one and all that Christinsanity is our agreed upon state religion,,, historically many countries have a national Christian religion and operate well especially with Catholic uniformity and historic classic bio-mechanical and thermal methods of persuasion for the right,,, God save us from Luthor/Lucerfer spinoffs like the Baptists and the dancing hand waving heretics like the evangelicals and the amen-brother black churches where the people are always talking out on issues that are the business of the state.

I especially like and advise we need to model our country on the great era of Church/Conservative Military enforced rule that Argentina had in the 1970-80’s, el Proceso. Google el proceso reorganizacion nacional argentina (English). (see ref below) They had a great program of harmony of thought and took care of as many as 30,000 people at state expense better than O’bma care. Perhaps once the Christian Conservative Republicans take over, then we can have a harmonious country. Good reading.

I have heard the rumours via a Bockman babbleforth that the Romney/Ryan’s team has decided to use Tommy Udo as a model for controlling Medicare and social security costs (by utilizing the desaparecidos program) and another especially for the disabled who sponge on our countries wealth example.. the wounded from the Baby-Bush wars.

As Bishop Sheen said, "There are millions that hate the Catholic Church for what they believe her to be, but only a handful that hate her for what she actually is".
