Impressive. Like the sharpness shown. Can you provide the distance at which you were shooting at? Also the depth of field you expected? Mahalo for sharing.
Test shots with a Canon 1dmk4 stacking the 1.4 & 2x extenders with 70-200 2.8 lens.
Pretty good considering they were stacked. I do wonder if they will tend to fall apart a bit at higher resolution. Could you post them again and check store original? It would also be nice to be able to see the EXIF data.

I used to photograph collegiate sports so I am trying to imagine them from the end zone into the field. 1st image 50 yards? 2nd image 80 yards? With water all around the one and the trees at a close distance behind the other I wasn't thinking about death of field.

Here you go I looked at the exif info and it only recognized one of the extenders. However, both extenders were used.
Even though you set them as store original they are still low resolution versions of the images. Can you post high resolution versions?
The two download versions are 640-pixels on the long side are just thumbnails. Seems like you've got a good story to tell. But, these images at the resolution of a thumbnail do not tell any story at all.

The pictures you posted look soft even at the small size you posted. OK for posting on the internet to an uncritical audience, but likely blurry when printed at 4"x6" or larger.

I make greeting cards with my images, and for that this will work fine.
With mine the 1.4 was closest to the camera but it only read the 2x. It will auto focus but it jumps in and out of focus until it locks on. With the Hasselblad's all I had was fully manual so I don't mind manually focusing, sometimes I prefer it.
