A few shots trying to capture the feel of Michigan near Empire and environs. I include a color shot in the batch--confusing for a set generally--but it was a rare case for me in that I think I like the color treatment better to capture the feel of the area. Though I like the b&w shot.
I was surprised at what a wine industry exists in the area. I enjoyed what I sampled!

That is such a lovely part of our country. I had no idea. But Michigan generally is under rated. I suspect it already is getting too crowded. I want to go to the UP next.
