Thanks, Andy. I appreciate your taking time to comment. Anything done in photography is like adding spices when cooking. Just enough that it would be noticed if it wasn't there. In this case, the collodion appearance does have to be a bit pronounced to make the effect work, but not so much that it distracts from the subject in the photograph.
