I am so glad that you are getting better response now. Getting max rated can be elusive. Memory speed may be the new bottle neck but you might need to try some of the capture settings if you really want the faster speed.
As I said in the other post, focus and gain may effect your speed as well as the amount of atmospheric distortion. I have gotten my best rates on really clear and still nights. I am at 5200 feet and those conditions are far apart even at this altitude.
