three shots with my Nikon D40. Anyone have any idea about the the small green spots on two of the pics. A large jellyfish maybe or the loch nes guy. have never seen them before. 18-55 lens and trying a number of WB as sugessted on todays fourm. I know the water and sky can yeild many things but again have not seen these before. Looks a little like toxic waste. thanks for help

It's hard to tell, but it might be a lens flare due to a dust particle on the lens or filter. Your sensor needs to be cleaned! I can see spots in the upper right corner of your pictures. Nice photos!
Nice shots. Lived in Point Pleasant Beach for 19 years and got down to LBI quite a lot.
Very nice color...What green spots...I don't see anything ?

Thanks for letting me take a look at these great shots!
Thanks to all for the kind words and the advice about spots on the sensor. You were right and I cleaned it this morning. Just wish the D40 had the auto sensor cleaner, on power up and power down, like my D3000. Those light spots only seem to show on sky shots but still no excuse for not cleaning. Thanks again and keep shootin' and postin' DON
Great shots. I was on Barnagat Bay this past week. My nephew has a house & boat in Waretown. Great place except for the greehead flys.
