When you upload the photo without the box checked, UHH only receives the JPG thumb image data. This excludes all the EXI data, and discards a lot of the image detail. Clicking on store original saves all that information to the Hog so that we can download and view your photos in all their glory. You can liken it to what you see on your computer's folder view versus double clicking the photo and viewing it in the photo viewer.

Beautiful and creative, Melanie. But are you sure that it is flare in No.3? Looks a bit more like "God Beams" (crepuscular rays) to me.
