...to miss. Rain to hail and raggedy clouds that came and went, from near blackness to puffy white and hints of blue. Went for cliff-face waterfalls downriver (a bust; didn't rain enough), ended up near Fisher Tower, thirty-odd miles upriver.

Wind and 4x5s don't do well together. So, I'll save you the effort of sending the wind. Just send the clouds. I don't want to appear greedy. 
After looking at your photos, I checked google earth. The clouds are just east of you today.
