I also noticed that John Q. Adams (1840) 6th Pres. and Harrison1st. pres to be photographed. the wording may be wrong, it does lead one to question who was the 1st. pres. tobe photographed

I inferred from the wording that Harrison was the first to be photographed while president. Adams was photographed after his presidency (1825-1829).

I couldn't stand the camera zooming so I quit with the first commercial. By the time they had the full photograph framed they went on to the next one.

"Crimean War soldiers, 1850". This war lasted from 1854 - 1856, photos were taken on their return.
