Many of you may already know this, but I was supprised to accidently find......
On my Nikon D5100, I accidently found that when I turn bracketing on, and use "continous shutter mode", the camera shoots a string of 3 shots with exposures as per the bracketing setting.
I have found this very useful.
Not sure about other brands or models.
This is an easy way to take three basic images for HDR merging.

So far I've only tried "in camera" HDR.
Now I might get the courage to try in post processing.
