You have wonderful models, Carlysue. I like your overall concept with number one being my favorite. I’ve always been a fan of creating a new and interesting view of a familiar subject. I think you’re doing a great job with it. I see your work as artistic creations, not defacement. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate what you say, John. You are always such an encouragement to me. "Defacement" was used in comparison to my last topic which was "Desecration, Defacement, and Vandalism". Some did not like my splatter painting altho' they are a favorite of mine. So I thought these were a little "gentler". You always find a new and different view of a subject and that was inspiring to me.

Beautiful softer side, Carla!! Love them all and so creative with the soap bubbles!!

thank you for checking them out, Angela. The soap bubbles were fun to find the right place on her face to really enhance both. I kinda like how it looks like a lacy mask. I am so glad you love them all!

In a previous topic I used some water colors to deface (no harm to any of my models); This time, some bits and pieces of old images that wouldn't be used otherwise.

Love this set Carla and that first one is outstanding.

I know photographers don't like to give up their secrets but I have thought of doing someting like this for a long time but have very unsure just how to do it. Any chance you could give a gentle pointer in the direction to take or not take? What kind of print papers to use? A bit about water colors? I'd be just doing it for fun but would like to have some idea just what to do. Thanks, I really enjoyed ALL of the images and that's why I'd like to try my own hand at this process.. Still need a printer though.

Love the artistry, beautifully done. I could see some great wedding portraits using the image #2 technique. Thanks for sharing them.
