Light from sunrises and sunsets are my favorite, so
I have quite a few of those.

Strong backlighting can be fun to play with, but
strong side lighting causes me problems, mainly
because I never carry a reflector card with me...

Two images during sunset !

Like both. Often I'll set up my tripod and click every few minutes....and then layer a few.

The solar telescope at Mt Kitt in southern AZ gathers lots of light. Shot years ago with an iPhone 4S.

Thank you Rolk.....faces are really fun to do, playing with light and smoke (hint-hint Clicker) but I'm itchy about photographing faces unless I know them REAL well.

We did visit many years ago but not on this trip. This was a picnic destination for the Jaguar owners club (car, not cat; the local zoo has 2 black Jaguars) in Tucson and we visited one of the other telescopes. Some of the mirrors are made in a lab at the U of AZ in Tucson.
