No point of interest - just a quick snap
No POI? The entire view, IMO.
Beautiful countryside. Thanks for sharing.
It's beautiful. The patterns made by the fields is very nice.
I am (pleasantly) surprised with everybody's comments.
I have been attending a landscape photo course, and it was drummed into me that every shot must have a focal point that the viewer will immediately see to put some impact into the scene.
I was (seriously) expecting viewers to remark on the lines of "OK, nice shot, but what are we looking at?"
Me thinks I have a long way to go before I can recognise the different aspects of composition.
Thanks everybody for your comments, I appreciate you finding the time to look.
Nice countryside capture. More than a snap to me.

Nice shot. I suggest you remove the birds as they will be confused with sensor dust and add nothing to the image.

Thank you, I had not seen the birds.
Although I live in Colorado, I am from Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the area from Hadrian's Wall to around Edinburgh is one of my favorite parts of the world. I have not been back there in a long time, but seeing this photograph has made me think it is time to pack the camera gear and head back there. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent landscape. It is appealing to me and comments made are quite appropriate. It is an example of gestalt which is an organized whole that is perceived as more than the sum of its parts.Stephan G is correct.
It's all a "point of interest"!
