Not a Good Day to Be on the Beach?

As I was driving down the shore, the weather was nice - clear blue skies and nice white clouds as far as you could see. About 3 miles from the beach that all changed - a very heavy fog was blanketing the beach and ocean. Almost turned back, but decided to stay and take my chances.

Yes, ya OK, but Steven King covered this subject in one of his stories... If they illustrated books your photo would fit in to set the scene.
Indeed it is a strange feeling at the beach clear above but coming fast toward you the dark churning clouds and dark traces of rain coming down... that is time to go to higher ground get coffee pastry and watch from the dry....

Thanks dpullum! It was strange to be on a deserted beach mid-morning with fog and unsettled weather everywhere, while 5 minutes away it was a beautiful Spring morning. BTW, Steven King is one of my favorite authors.
