Amazing if he is doing what I think he is. Is he actually balancing on that unicycle and playing at the same time? Nice catch to be sure.

A good catch.

I would have left out the drummer and kit out on the left side to strengthen the dynamic with performer and audience.

As for me, I can't even one-task!

He was and it was pretty good. Edinburgh is a college town and there are street performing students all over the place - earning a bit of extra money - it's really cool. Glad you liked this shot.

I probably should have cropped out the drummer - there was a reason I left him in but I don't remember what it was now!

If you are anything like me, it will come a'roaring at you at three in the morning.

Serious for the nonce, if it does come back, let us (me) know. I am always interesting knowing how other folks view things. Thanks.

I agreed about the crop until I downloaded and cropped it. Without the drummer you lose the fact that they are street performers and the guy by himself resembles more of a village idiot. Just my opinion and not meant to offend.

We all look through our owns lenses first, of course. And that is why we have these discussions.

I am looking at the dynamic created by the performer as to the two viewers. There are the windows behind both groups defining the dynamic further, by their shapes and positioning. The crop on the left would be at the dividing vertical line made by the window on the left, running down just right of the drum kit.

And like you contend for yourself, this is only my opinion. The photo, with the unicyclist balanced by the drummer, would be another good shot.

OK - here's the original, untouched shot. As you see, I had to crop out the guy in blue who was blocking the drummer. It would have been nice to have him in the shot unobstructed, but that's just the way it happened. Having a wee bit of the drummer in the image gave it some context.

No offense taken!! Folks over there have a quirky sense of humor and do some things that we would never see in the States. For example, they take great delight in planting traffic cones on the heads of otherwise serious statues - Husband thinks it's a total lack of respect - I think it's hilarious!

It keeps the amount of avian political state making too. (aka bird-pooping.)

As for the inconsiderate fan, I would have had an "oops" moment. "Sorry to knock you down. I didn't see you there." But that would have destroyed the moment. Oh well.

I like that, A real Cone Head. It is hilarious.
The statue wasn't defaced or damaged so I can appreciate the humor. Thanks for the laugh.
