You posted a picture obviously not sharp and you said the lens took sharp nice picture. The lens should be fine in my opinion but I won't pay good money for it. Besides Nikon doesn't recommend to use it on all of their DSLR's except one.
this was taken a old yashika 45mm range finder i had trouble downloding the one from the nikon will repost sorry i new at this but i amy trying. wasnt trying to deceive you thats for sure.

Please don't leave just yet. I happen to think the image you posted is a great shot in a style that hearkens back to the earlier days of photography. It might even work better in black and white. I don''t think any one meant to insult you, but you did say
"seems to take nice sharp images", and the image is obviously very far from being sharp. I think your reference to sharpness confused some people a bit. By the way, there is also a lot of grit all over the image which adds to its aged look. Was that intentional?
thank you so much the avice i get here is invaluable. no just a dirty slide. will try b&w. i

There is absolutely no need to keep your mouth shut. There's nothing wrong with asking questions. But. If you're asking a question or trying to demonstrate something, if it's not clear we won't know how to respond. You posted on a few different topics (threads) in what looks to be a continuing conversation. But not everybody's going to read each thread you've created. That's why some people on this site have not treated you very nicely. They simply don't understand what it is you're trying to say and whether you're looking for feedback from us.
Honestly I think he just has some difficultly communicating clearly in writing, so I'm willing to cut him a bit of slack.
