Nan - they aren't as scary as they seem - and you can just choose one lens and carry it with you all the time. Just carry a small bag with another lens and battery and it isn't much more to carry than your P& S. I find I carry both a lot right now. Sometimes I can't figure out how to get the shot with olympus so I use the canon just so I don't miss anything. lol
