Mother's Day sunrise on Tybee

Took my wife to Tybee Island (Savannah, GA) for Mother's Day to see the sun rise out of the water. Woke her up out of a sound sleep at 5 AM. Sunrise was at 6:26, but the beach was 26 miles away. It is a good thing she loves me. All photos SOOC, Nikon P900.

So who's treat was this - yours or hers? Don't complain if she wakes you up at 5:00 am on Fathers Day and drags you of to her quilting club meet. I hope you at least treated her to a nice champagne breakfast.

She got a very good breakfast at the best place on Tybee.

In #4 I think the lighting is ok, I just don't like the way the light source turned out. The sun was high enough I thought about using my filter, but then the only thing you would have seen was the sun.

Thanks, She was happy. That was part of the reason for the trip.
