Our daughter took us on a beautiful Mothers Day little hike along a path thru Wolfcreek preserve in Slippery Rock PA. A peaceful and tranquil place. I gave my camera a work out. It was cloudy and rainy , but very beautiful.

I know and get very frustrated. I see the pictures some of you post and they are so clear. Mine usually are not. i did not have a tripod with me and some of those I just used automatic and not Manuel. I didnt want to mess any up as it was so beautiful there. A couple of the bluebells I just lowered the camera and used the little screen to view the image, probably did not hold still enough. There is so much Idont know about taking pics but im learning. Does one need to use a tripod all the time to get those really clear pictures?? I really do not want to set up a tripod every few feet or so. I dont have a light weight one.
Also on that day it was dark and dreary,damp and had rained earlier and not a lot of light - so the blurriness was probably due to needing to use a slower shutter speed. I think i was using 800 iso. i just kept clicking away
