I've been looking through folders of thousands of my surfing photos and came up with 10 of my favorites for various reasons. These are best viewed in download mode.
Great set. I especially like the treatment in #1.

The last one did it for me! Working the curl on a small wave...Much easier on a big wave!
It has been over 50 years since I have done any surfing. I had so much fun 'shooting the curl' with my new Hobie 'short board, back then! A completely different ride from my Velzy big board I used on the big stuff. (10' and up.) My Velzy was a big, stout board with 4" rails and a humongous skeg. Dale made it for me in his Venice, California shop in 1962. Although I didn't go into the water, I was at his memorial at DoHo State Beach Park in 2005..with my board! If you have any images of the gathering, look for the bright yellow board, tail down, nose up, towards the front of the crowd...that was me. Dale insisted the board be yellow, to stand out and be noticed where I took it. It was a true 'big gun' board and he wanted people to know he made it! To this day, I dislike the color yellow! I 'collect' Corvettes and was offered a yellow Z06 for a ridiculous price. I turned it down because of the color. [Thanks Dale!

I can see why their your favorites, very nice.
Incredible work Brent! 👍👍👍
Brent, a great set of Images.
Thank you for sharing.

Some really fine work, Brent. Could you please post a downloadable of the non-effects version of No. 1? Someone should be using it for advertising (after they paid you.)
Forgot to note that the "senior paddleboarder" shot has so much visual interest. Do you see him often?
Number two is magnificent, color, light, movement, and more. The others make me ask; is surfing a synonym for gravity denier?

So Sorry Dave.......I really don't have the time to do a search to find that non-effects version of No. 1. And I am not really interested in selling my photos......I just love to take them and don't need the hassle of "business" that would take me away from shooting.
Thanks Dave for the nice comments though.
