On the Havasupai Indian Reservation in the Grand Canyon is this place of breathtaking beauty. We backpacked eight miles down into the canyon to Supai village, then farther down the canyon to Havasu and Mooney Falls. I understand that now you can take a helicopter into and out of the canyon. The water is really that color. Fortunately we were there before this bit of paradise became so well known.

3. Havasu Falls. To wade in the water you want to wear some kind of shoes. The travertine is very sharp.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.
The fact that it is so hard to get too is great, Perhaps man will not ruin it so quickly.

Nice set of photos Luen, it's a good thing you got there when you did, wait time can now be as long as a year to visit the falls.

I thank all of you for your kind words. This is such a spectacular place I am glad that we got there when we did. Now I would need the helicopter and a horse.
My favorite place on the planet! Nicely done. Havasu falls does change a bit with the different flow levels. When I was there I was told that the Supai weren't allowed down at the falls because they are part of the GCNP. It's nice to see the in your pics.
