Thank you very much Doug, glad to bring memories back to you. Traffic? One doesn't have to worry stopping right on the road taking pictures, these pics were taken mid September, I don't think I saw more than 5 cars.

If you choose Alaska, here is what I most of the time did. Fly to Anchorage mid September, rent a car and no matter which direction you drive you'll see beautiful scenery.
