Bayard Cutting on a beautiful day (finally)

Loaded up my SX50 and my T3i with the 18-400 mm lens and went here to duel it out. What follows is a mixture of the two. Comments welcome. I'm working on my composition, so let me know what you think.

Wonderful set, Tricia and yes, it is a beauty of a day!!
I enjoyed them all, but especially the selective focus on #5 & 6!
...when did the cypress knees get dressed!!! lol... love it!!

Nice show of Spring.

On the fifth picture I would crop from the top to eliminate the tree trunk. It distracts rather than adds to the image. Otherwise I really like that one.

Thanks Angela. The Cypress knees were sort of a hoot. Not sure I like them "dressed", but...

Thanks for your kind words. Still not sure whether the SX50 won or the T3i with the 18-400. I did learn that by the end, my back was feeling it a little.

Thank you so much. You're right. I was so interested in getting the white of the cloud of daffodils I didn't see the tree for the forest. I should have taken it from another angle maybe. Your comment is much appreciated.
