i laugh my ass off when i see posts from members saying "I'm a retired wedding photographer", "I've been shooting for 30 years", "I've had my work published" Really? I've seen samples of your work, you've posted them here... the truth is it's CRAP. Sorry Rivernan that includes your stuff, it must have been published in a local magazine, cause it sucks!

Don't let this idiot get to you, he is only here for a short while, thats for sure. His mother will kick him out of her basement very soon, the smell of urine and old cigarettes has got to be overpowering her by now.

Unfortunately most people do not differentiate between a troll and a offensive post. A true troll is a thing a beauty and a joy forever. A real troll sucks people into believing the creation of the troll is true.

For those unfamiliar with it, Neal Boortz's Cat Chasing Championship was one of the great trolls of all times. Boortz described the event as throwing a live cat out of a plane and sky divers trying to catch it before it hit the ground.
Quote:
There’s been a lot of fun also. One of my favorite scams was the 1988 Georgia Cat Chasing Championships. Cat lovers, you’re going to love this one.

Here’s what we did: I told my listeners we were going to do a remote broadcast from “some airport in South Georgia,” where the Georgia round of the National Cat Chasing Championship was going to be held.

Cat chasing? Simple: You take a cat and about eight sky divers in an airplane up to around 12,000 feet. You toss the cat out, and the eight skydivers tumble out to give chase. The first skydiver who lands with a cat wins.

So there I am, promoting this thing for weeks. Cat lovers are going nuts. All the while we’re preparing for the broadcast. We put together a cast to play the cat-chasing contestants. We gather the necessary sound effects: wind, aircraft engines, flapping parachutes, howling cats and the noise of the appreciative crowds.

To create the sound effect of a cat that had not been successfully caught, we dropped 5 pounds of wet paper towels on a tile floor. Very realistic.

The day of the competition arrives. The actors assemble in the studios. The Fulton County sheriff is downstairs demanding to know where this atrocity is going to be held. We won’t talk to him.

What an hour. A Hall of Fame Hour, if I don’t say so myself. It wasn’t until the last 10 seconds of the program that I told the listeners they had been had. In the meantime, multiple advertisers pulled their ads.
There’s been a lot of fun also. One of my favorit... (show quote)

That, my friends, is a troll. Realdelideal is just an offensive twit and not worth the time to respond.

I think it would be very nice for you to post some of your work for all of us to see how great of pictures you take.

'great' being optional

By the way, it's a good thing that your location is 'in hiding' because i would hate to think of what nasty mail you would get if these people knew your address.

I'm just curious and maybe we can have some fun. I've got the impression from a lot of the posts that I've read that most people are close to me in age. I'd like to get a days worth of responses and average them out. I'll reveal my age at the end and see if I'm right.

I can't believe this has deteriorated so quickly and so badly. Never mind, everyone, just forget it.

i can't even begin to discribe the laugher I get from this site. some of the pictures are so bad they are scary and yet they still get "great job" comments.

I thought it was a fun idea. If everyone would just ignore him we could still continue.

If you look at his posts, you will see that he is on an agenda. He is going through and insulting everyone he can.
I almost believe that someone who caused trouble in the past has returned under a new name to get back at those who wronged him/her.

YUP I THINK THEY ARE GREAT...
thanks for picking some out..although I prefer to post my own...
feel free too keep them too since you choose them and had to download them to post.
Dont be sorry...I am proud of having my pictures and stories in BMWON...and I got lots of nice products for free to review.
I am so glad you were interested enough in my work to go look.
Oh so far the only unfavorable comments I have had are from you. But I am glad to be among the 3% you felt it was important to comment on....Even though I have read your profile and have seen only the 6 nasty comments you made.
try to have a nice day...it must be hard for you.

you really think this is great work?

being published in BMW owners magazine is nothing to write home about, sorry, it's not. They take photo submissions from anyone and try to use them, as long as they are in focus and go with the story, they are happy because they don't have to pay a stock agency.

I think you need to really sit back and look at your work, you have a false sense of what you really are turning out. Try sending your work to the NY Times, Rolling Stone, People, Wired, etc and see what kind of response you get (I'm sure you won't even hear back from them). have you submitted any of your pictures to a stock agency? what was the feedback you received? not very favourable was it?

as I said, this site is full of wantabees, looking for validation. I would say the majority of the members here turn out pictures that would not make it off my memory card and I would be embrassed to have my name associated with it.

you all need a reality check! only about 5% of the work here is anything worth looking at only about 3% is actually worth even commenting on.[/quote]

I'm going to sink to your level just long enough to tell you to f*** OFF and leave my friends alone! I'm 42 , is that young enough for you? I have learned so much from this site, from the kindness and patience of the people on it. If you don't like us or our work, then go away. :hunf:
