This is a blossom from a small Datura plant that my neighbor grew from seed and gave to me. This shot was taken with a plain white background and then processed with added textures to give the flower a more complimentary setting. I hope you like it.

I like it, Carol. I would also like to see it with the white background.

Glad you like it Ken. I'm attaching the original. I just felt it was too stark. When I took this shot, the plant was still potted and I placed a white diffuser behind it and took the shot inside. The plant is now happily planted in the garden and just this morning has opened the first new blossom.

Thank you, Stan! The colors make me think of fall rather than spring but I felt they were complimentary to the flower.

Thank you Jake! I'm just starting the journey into more creative pp but I am enjoying the trip. I like to be able to spruce up an otherwise good shot that just lacks pop.

Thank you, Sundar. It is a very large flowers - approx 8" long - on a small plant. I had a hard time figuring out what to do with it.

Lovely, rich colors and texture. The directional lighting is extra-nice!
