When i was "hiking" thru the yard stalking birds I noticed this - my Lupine is starting to come up and there were drops of water in the little space in the center , so i thought it would make an interesting picture.

Nice find! Should have exposed for the drops, the foliage makes it too high for them!
Bracket and take several shots increasing the fstop to make each subsequent shot darker. Or get an exposure meter and take a reading on the water drop before taking the shot. I like to bracket so I have a choice when I down load. Also good to have a range of exposures if you want to HDR a scene.
ok, I will try using different f stops. Keep in mind that I am a novice just learning and dont have an exposure meter and I have no clue what HDR is I am in my 70's and just learning my new hobby. I noticed the drops of dew in the plants and tried taking a picture of it, getting as closes as I could. I was using a sigma 18 - 300 mm lens. I also have a 135 mm lens and a 50mm prime lens. My camera is a Cannon T5i But I am learning little by little how to use it in Manuel. Thank you so much for the quick reply and the info. I will try the bracketing. :-)
