Moon - Sky-Watcher 190 Mak-Newt & ATIK Color Horizon

The snow has finally melted enough to get into my observatory so I loaded the Sky-Watcher 190 Mak-Newt on the Celestron CGEM DX, dropped in the ATIK Color Horizon with the STC Duo-Spectra filter and balanced the setup. I still have to do my spring polar alignment and calibrate the StarSense unit with the scope but things were well enough aligned to shoot some subs of the Moon.

I used the STC Duo-Spectra filter simply to reduce the brightness of the Moon enough to be able to image it with the Horizon camera and even then I was shooting 0.005 sec. exposures!

The Download is the full size image off the above configuration.

Enjoy!

Great job Brian with a very sensitive DS camera.
