Early April we took a road trip East from Indiana with hopes of catching Cherry Blossom time in DC as part of that trip. We were thrilled when we arrived to discover them at their peak! Please enjoy some of our experience. I'll be adding other portions from our adventure a bit later. Bob

Beautiful shots! DC is a really nice place to visit and cherry blossom time makes it even more special!
Beautiful set ! DC has got so much to photograph.
Not sure if you did the night tour. You will fill a card in no time.
Thank you 2Dragons......for your nice comment on the Cherry Blossoms! It was so rewarding to have planned this trip weeks in advance not knowing if we would even catch the timing on the blossoms. Much appreciated, Bob

Thanks sundar....for the kind comment. You're right about DC having "so much to photograph." Missed doing a night tour. Wished someone had mentioned it as it sounds wonderful! But not sure my legs would have been up to it due to all the walking one does in DC! But then.....a Taxi tour after dark would have been fun. By the evening I was ready to head for the hot tub....& did....every night of our trip! Next time....I'll be sure to catch it in the dark! Much appreciated, Bob
On our bucket list. Thank you for sharing.

Hope your timing will be good for you. If you plan far enough in advance you might be able to tour The White House & or The Capital. We tried, but all was full. Needs to be done about a year ahead. Talked with a couple who did just that & it took almost the entire year to get a "yes"! They were able to do both. Thanks for your comment & good luck with your Bucket List! Bob
It's a beautiful set...i really enjoyed viewing them.
Gorgeous series of our Capital city !!! I wish our politicians behave as the views. Thank you for sharing. Shang

Good job on these photos.
In photo number 10 it looks like three helicopters AND a seagull are going to pickup the Pres.
Did you notice that woman at the bottom of the photo near the right side of the pool. I think she's checking you out.
.
She may be with the Secret Service and wants to know why you're so interested in those helicopters - and the seagull.
