What is opinion of the camera and what lens would you use for daily, standard walk around?

Thank you

Of course, two clarifying questions you're apt to be asked, here:

"Walk around" where?

And, pointed at what? (what will you be taking pictures of?)

From your UHH history it looks like you're coming from a D7100 and D750, so wanting to go smaller and lighter? What's your level of interest in the T20?

Image quality of the T20 is magnificent, as it's the same sensor as it's slightly larger sibling the X-T2. Take that for granted. There are reviews a-plenty to give testament to my comment.

You should make a concerted attempt to get the T20 in your hands before making any decision. Taking image quality for granted the size and comfort in your hands may well be a deciding factor. In comparison get hold of a T2 as well. Or even the new X-H1.

There is a wide enough choice of Fuji XF lenses to fulfill your usage needs, and all are of great quality.

Just do your research into cameras and XF lenses. This may help ......

I have it and it’s a great camera, get the 18-55 kit lens, it’s excellent and covers most scenarios.

Getting one in your hands is easier said than done. We live in the biggest city in our state and no one has a demo X-T20. We have several Best Buys and have been to some of them including the one with the biggest camera department (where every current Nikon, Canon, and most of the Sonys and Panasonics were on display). They told me that Fuji does not provide display X-T20 so we could not see one out of the box. My wife was interested but she is very picky about how a camera feels in her hands so Fuji is out. Shame, they are missing sales because they don't want to provide stores a display.

Surely there must be someone who owns an XT20 who would let you handle it? And aren't there any camera stores that you are reduced to Best Buys?

If you have access to a military exchange they may not have a display but they will allow you to take one out of the box. I bought mine at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport. They had at least ten available with two kit zoom lenses at a very reasonable price. Extremely satisfied.

Looked at the X-T20. Too small and looked like if you press the shutter button, water would squirt from the lens.. Bought the X-T2. Slightly bigger and felt solid, with extra controls at your fingertips.

I have the X-T20, it's sitting on my desk right now, I've had the camera since last August. Build quality is excellent, the images it produces are superb.
I use the 18-55 OIS kit lens which is a very high quality lens to be considered a "kit" lens. The physical dimensions are a bit smaller than its more expensive
brother the X-T2. Initially I was finding a little difficulty with the buttons and dials on the small body and my big hands. I've gotten used to it now and now
don't seem to have those problems anymore. The shutter release button is grouped a little tight between the shutter speed dial and the exposure compensation dial.
I added the Match Technical Soft Release to make the shutter button more accessible. The image quality at high ISO's is outstanding. I really love this camera and
the Fuji lenses.

I have the X-T20 for about a year and really like it with the following lenses/usage:

18-55mm - 10%
35mm F2 - 20%
50mm F2 - 10%
56mm F1.2 - 30%
90mm F2 - 20%
55-200mm - 10%

My shot consisting of a single person (not group) mostly full or 1/2 body shots (not head only), both indoor and out.

Few more with the 50mm f2 if you are into landscaping (rare "landscape" pictures from me)

Sorry to hear that. I'm in the UK where it's relatively simple to drive from one town to the next and there are plenty Fuji dealers. Find it a pity that in a country such as yours you find it so difficult ....... can't help further, sorry. What happened to the great PMA (positive mental attitude) thing with which I was bombarded by my US employer in the 70's/80's ......."if you REALLY want something enough you'll find a way / don't give up at the first stumbling block" etc,etc ....... your wife will be missing what is already a winner with the ladies !!
