This picture was taken of my son and I when he was 14. I recently got this when my sister passed away and it has faded considerably over the years. My grandson is the spitting image of his dad and I want to make a copy of this for him as a present. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jean!

I can see why this portrait is important to you.

To me, it's just a matter of adjusting the brightness and contrast and a slight tweak on the "hue" of the image. It could also be converted to a pretty awesome black and white.

I'm not a "professional," but would you mind if I try making those corrections?

This is just a quick retouch as Rolk said using a little brightness and contrast and a slight tweak on the "hue"

This is definitely closer to what it was originally. Thank you. I deeply appreciate it.
