No, I'm referring to Digital IR. Yikes, I have not even seen IR film for 20 years. Though, I did shoot that a bit at one time. All you needed was a IR filter that you can not see thru, so you had to pre-focus. Kodak discontinued IR Ektachrome ages ago and their High Speed Infrared B&W film many years ago too. There days the are some pseudo-IR films with some extended sensitivity into the IR, but it is not the same as the old days stuff.

My reference to Infrared film was said tongue-in-cheek to cover up my ignorance. I had no idea how digital IR works. Your post was very informative. Thank you.
