Nikon lens/lens hood compatibility chart

I have always used a Skylight filter (or similar) on all my lenses, all the time. It appears that may not have been the best choice, or at least isn't with today's equipment. I am finding it difficult to determine what the "best" hood would be for some of my lenses, especially some of the legacy lenses. Does anyone here know of a comprehensive list available online? So far I haven't been able to locate one. Thanks in advance!

I haven’t seen such a list, but if you will name your lenses (complete description, please), we will be able to tell you the hood Nikon recommends. If you’re not sure which version of a lens you have, give the serial number.
