I use LR for most editing. Affinity for tools I need and Nik for their great plugins.

I wonder if OP is going to tally the results?
by page 3 I had over 23 different programs
PS & LR lead followed by ON1, PS elements and Capture One.
WOW! I don't use anything...I just crop only...I did purchase Corel paintshop...but every time I open it...I'm bombed with "update to 2018 edition" (Mo-money). So I turned it off...and I just crop my photos
For the most part I use my darkroom (not software).
For rest of my work, digital and scanned film/ prints, I use Photoshop CC
I have the Photoshop CC/LR package. I've used PS since 1994 (v.2, I think). LR is cool and all, but I see no reason to learn another program when PS does everything needed.
Lightroom and Photoshop for cleaning up.
Aurora for HDR photography
Lightroom, ZereneStacker and Nebulosity

I've been a LR convert for a number of years. I keep finding new little things that it does all the time by following blogs like this and other posts. I do not however use it as my "storage and cataloging". I had been using Photo Mechanic for even more years and did not want to change from that base, it's probably one extra step but it works for me.
I was not aware of Photo Mechanic so I turned the YouTube
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yXx2-SXePW0 which promoted Photo Mechanic as a front end to LR. Apparently there is no conflict. The two programs are aware of each other and can share the same files.

In addition to what software people use, you may want to ask them to post a link to their work. What software people use, but what results they get is more meaningful. Including those that say they use no post processing.
You can see a lot of my work here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/gene_lugo/ Isn't that something how some hallucinate that they use no software after clicking the shutter.

Luminar and Aurora by Skylar, formerly Macphun.
Currently installed and sometimes used are LR, Photoshop Elements-15, Affinity (purchased when they were having a sale), and Topaz.
I primarily use PSE-15.
I hope to learn to use Affinity instead of PSE, but for now it sits pretty much unused (there is a lot to learn)
Buy the Affinity Photo Workshop book. It costs $50.00, but then again, "there ain't no free lunch in anything". It works. It speeds up the learning process. PSE-15 is pretty archaic compared to the capabilities of Affinity. I almost upgraded from PSE - 12 to 2018. Boy am I glad I did not. I am interested in B&W and photo stacking in particular. Affinity is fabulous in B&W and medium in stacking. If their stacking really works for my applications (the question is how many frames will it handle; Helicon say's they can handle a thousand) it will pay for itself in helping me to make a choice of Zerene or Helicon somewhere down stream, if that becomes necessary. The menus, sliders and functions are endless, however, this is purely an indication of the potential in the program. The book systematically leads you through the maze. After a few hours of concentration, you get the hang of it all, and things speed up. Enough of my marketing.
FOTOR. Quick, easy and fairly effective for my so-so JPEGS. Unfortunately they only offer as a subscription now!
As per Gene51's suggestion photos attached.
