As said before --- The 1st try (2013) at post-processing produced "CRAP" aka overcooked HDR "stuff" --
Happy that you found them to be interesting --- Going to Canada this year -- May never come back --

Is the naval base near where the Battleship Potemkin was moored? The Sailors revolt was one of the precipitating acts of the revolution that overthrew the Czars.

The short answer is NO -- Got to see the ole Potemkin (looks just like it does in all the history books) via the tour bus window -- Call me a snob -- But I just don't like to take shots from dirty rain/mud splattered bus windows -- The Battleship is located in the center of the city on the Neva where it was as you know a real threat back in 1917 -- The naval base we were lucky to see is about an hour going out of St. Peats right before the open Baltic begins -- Our freedom of movement was serverly limited while in St. Petersburg (Group Visa's) -- Unlike every other place we visited while touring the Baltic - Absolutly - No running around town on our owne for any of us -- At night the gaing plank was pulled-up & we were restricted to a lot of fun activities (open bar) on the Ship!!

The Potemkin is one of those things that I have always wanted to see.
