I want to thank everyone for their kind comments. My understanding is this bird is not a native of the coast of North Carolina. I feel blessed to be able to photograph it.

I had one at my feeder today but I couldn't get a picture because bluebird ran him off. They are pasting thur Raleigh NC on the way to mountains of NC.
