I've just registered. I'm 65 and I've been taking photos most of my life ... mostly travel shots. I have a Canon 80D and a couple of Canon lenses: 18-200 and 100-400 (just got it ... and wow ... it's great but Heavy). I was recently in Antarctica and here a couple of shots. I keep striving to take better shots and the comments here have been very insightful.

Welcome! Wonderful photos from an awesome place. I also am 65, been taking photos all my life, but mainly for enjoyment I can tell that you might be a bit like me in that "Good photographers go where the photos are"

Actually ... I like the effect of the darker looking photo. I printed it out and (13x19) and it looks great in a well lit room. I'm a computer guy and I love using Lightroom ...
