Stolen lens

I saw this at The Angry Photographer's YouTube some days ago. Here's an article about it:

Ok, there is something missing from this story. 15 hours is more than enough time to contact the police and have them respond to this.

As the article tells, the seller and lens was in Mexico.
I live in neighboring Guatemala, I doubt any local MX police force would address it in a decent manner...

It appears the buyer of this lens was also the seller, who is now banned from Ebay under his seller name.
