I really like this photo but it was taken on a dismal overcast day. I don't have lightroom or Photoshop and was wondering if the eyes could be more yellow and perhaps brightened up . I very much appreciate any help I could get with this photo.
The irises/pupils can be selected easily. #1 is a simple increase in Saturation [+75] and Clarity [+15] (both done in Lightroom). If you wanted the irises to be more yellow rather than yellow/green, a simple WB shift does that [+15] - see #2. For more precise control over the colour you could use the HSL tool.
If you want an edit to keep, send a bigger file (maximum quality) for us to download.

You're right. If he wants us to do an edit for him to keep he should send a bigger file for us to work on.

Thanks for your compliment. I used Photoshop Camera Raw filter. Lightened highlights, darkened blacks, increased clarity. In Photoshop duplicated layers, increased saturation of Background layer, added mask to Background copy and using black brush made holes in the mask where eyes where located.

Thank you so much for your edits I really appreciate your work ! Sorry I didn't have a larger file but these will work well for me !
This thread shows very well that there are many ways to "skin a cat..." R.G. suggested one way and MMC showed another way. What a wonderful world we have in digital photography!
