All the Canon M series will work with your Minolta lenses with an adapter. They will also meter.

I use mine on my Sony a6000 all the time with the aid of a cheap adaptor. You have to focus manually, but so what. We did that when we used them with our Minoltas.

You can use an adapter but you'll loose almost all functionality of the recommended digital lens. The old lenses may have good glass but newer lenses are designed to be integrated with the body for optimal advantage. Not only that, it improves resale value when you upgrade to a newer model.

The Minolta lenses can be used on the Sony A series. Not the E series, but the A series.

Gee, I didn’t know old manual focus lenses would mount on any auto focus Sony body. Seems they changed the mount when they introduced autofocus cameras, thereby orphaning the older lenses. BTW, I have quite a few older Minolta cameras and MF lenses and no, unless an adapter is used, they won’t mount to any AF Minolta or Sony camera.

But all your old Minolta AF lenses will fit any A mount Sony, and they will auto focus fast and accurately.

I only have one Minolta AF lens. The post is about an SRT 101 which is a manual focus camera and the AF lenses won’t work on it
