Enjoying the nice weather. American Kestrel, Crested Caracara and Sandhill Cranes
The weather here has been terrific for getting around. Thanks to the Imagemeister for a heads up on an American Kestrel he found close by us. And to another friend who had spotted the Crested Caracara also not far away.
The Sandhill crane and one of their colts is just down the street.

All five birds are beauties, but the kestrel shot's a joy to behold! The radiating vegetation in the background makes it a winner.
Thanks Muddyvalley. I'm glad you liked them.
Black Skimmers? What Black Skimmers? I got a little distracted too. All great shots!
Nice set. I see you are now coercing with Brent Harder. vz
Thanks Chief for looking in. I'm still looking for the Black Skimmers. I haven't given up.
Thanks vonzip for looking. I'm afraid Bret has me beat. Our season is about to end and yours is about to begin.
Thanks Gregory, I always enjoy your posted adventures.

My my my...stellar series!
Thank you Forbescat. I'm glad you liked the post.
All are nice photos. The one that grabs me is the little one being 'schooled'.

Love the Sandhill and Kestral pics!
Thanks Bill. I love to watch the little colts grow. It happens so fast.
Thank you Mikwar. That Kestrel is quite a challenge, he's small, quick and leary.
