Earlier this year I posted about taking pictures of the lunar eclipse. I had gone out early the previous morning to find a good location to shoot from but had not thought to take into account the number of people that would show up to watch the eclipse. Some of the comments suggested I should have taken pictures of the people.
In February my wife went with my brother and his wife to watch the Falcon Heavy rocket launch. We arrived early as did quite a few other people, so I decided to listen to my fellow Hedgehoggers and take pictures of the people.
The first is of the mentioned eclipse, the rest are of people waiting for the rocket launch.

Nice images. I too was in Florida during that "Falcon heavy" rocket launch, but alas was not in a good place to view the launch, to far from Cape Kennedy, very sorry I missed that Photographic event.

#5 funny how our Smartphones have become a "On the spot" Camera, not sure how good their images of the "Falcon Heavy" launch turned out, but I am guessing they were NOT spectacular images.

I used a 300mm on a Nikon d3400 and was very disappointed, to far away and too much haze.

Thank you, I don't really like taking pictures of people but I keep getting asked to take pictures of events so I need to develop that skill, maybe I'll learn to like it.

Very nice work! I especially like the gorilla pod shot; looks like a father/son camera setup. Also like the happy smiling dog.
