We don't have many Bald Eagles here in Rhode Island, but their numbers are increasing each year. Finding them and being able to get into a position to photograph is even more of a challenge. I have spent months trying and finally located one on this small pond. He had already fished for the morning and spent three hours going from tree to tree overlooking the pond with jumping trout. But I was able to get about 20 frames in the very low light early in the morning before he sailed away over the woods and out of sight. I'll take it.
