I read it a couple of times. Couldn't find the part about him being Muslim. Bystanders seemed somewhat impressed at how the police handled the situation. they were there I was not. Perhaps you were there and know more than I could read, I don't know. I'm having trouble understanding why there seems to be some question as to whether it was a sword or a machete. You don't need me to say it was a bad situation, but why is this case special? I wasn't really going to comment, but you kind of pushed me into it. You may know more about it than I was able to find. I may have appeared to imply more than I meant to. The comment section had comments from people who seemed to believe the cops handled it pretty well. I read as much as I could find but you seem quite affected by it. Did I miss something? You say Samurai sword. I read machete. Both can be deadly but besides being edged weapons they aren't that similar. What the cops did does seem better than shooting a black guy with a cell phone in his back yard in Sacramento.

the images showed a samurai-style sword. and a couple of cops getting sliced up badly is NOT preferable to putting down the jihadist by means of FMJ, HP, or 12 GA 00 Buck.
